• I was referred to a long time friend and needed a place that was clean safe and on the beach and cheap also. I was really amazed that I received all of the above and really loved my stay there. Very convenient location on the beach!

  I guess I picked a stellar week for beautiful weather which made this stay at Sea Rocket 1 very memorable for me! I would definitely recommend this place and I know I will stay again in the future also.

  The general condition of our unit was very satisfactory -- there just could be a few adjustments to the arrangement of the furniture -- a drop leaf rectangular table would provide more space in the kitchen and folding chairs would allow for more seating for company. Kitchen could be equipped a bit better with measuring spoons, cups, bowls, a couple more pots &/or casserole dishes for cooking and baking. We like to cook.

  The unit was smaller than we had expected. The kitchen was updated. We would suggest to the owner that you paint it a nice light color. It was dark and dismal. The walls/ceiling was cracked in the bathroom, which was uninviting. The coach needs to go. It was old and smelled musty. Just some general improvements would give this unit all five stars. Right above the door on the outside, it needed repairs badly. It looked like it had been cut away for repairs, but not put back together after the repairs were done - thus giving it a bad first entrance impression. We loved the location of the Sea Rocket. The patio and beach area was wonderful. We have reserved the Sea Rocket again for 2012, but not in unit one.

  I have been coming to the Sea Rocket for years so I like the place in general and will keep coming back. I will stay in a different room, though. A few upgrades to the room would make it better - new mattress, bigger TV, and plastic dinnerware (so it can't break). Also, the shower drain is clogged and the room's door sticks really bad.
